ANNUAL DANCE
NATIONAL PARTY FUNCTION
ENJOYABLE EVENING SPENT
The Coromandel branch of the New Zealand National Party held its annual dance in St. George’s hall, Coromandel, on Friday, May 28. Those present, although not as many as usual at this yearly event, enjoyed a pleasant evening, a good floor, popular music and a very enjoyable supper all combining to make it a success. Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mr and Mrs W. K. Peachey and Mrs Anderson and Mr Bob Atkinson. The lucky door ticket was held by Mrs R. Christian.
The music was supplied by Mrs E. M. Lucas and Mr W. Hart, extras being played by Mrs R- Christian and Lee Perfect. The function concluded with the singing of the national anthem at midnight.
