RUBBISH TIP

INFESTED BY RATS POSITION IN MERCURY BAY Letters from a resident of Mercury Bay and from the Chamber of Commerce complaining of the condition of the rubbish tip were deceived at the May meeting of the Coromandel County Council. It was stated that the tip was a breeding place for rats. The clerk, Mr J. H. Lucas, stated that when the newly elected health inspector took over his 'duties this matter would be one of the first attended to.
