TABLE TENNIS
WIN FOR PAEROA TE AROHA BEATEN 85 TO 53 Te Arolia and Paeroa clubs met again in a friendly table tennis match in the Civic hall, Paeroa. All games were keenly contested and the standard of play generally was very satisfactory. The result of the evening’s play was a win for Paeroa by 85 games to 53. Players were as follows:— Te Aroha—Men’s A: W. Tindale, A. Thompson, K. Jones, G. Halligan. B: 0. Caldwell, L. Polglase, E. Wright, W. Woofe. Ladies’ A: Misses S. Collins, Durrand, S. Baker, H. Baker. B: Misses A. Harris, I. Thompson, D. Stewart, Mrs C. Tindale. Paeroa—Men’s A: N. R. Harris, H. O. Walker, A. G. Parsons, R. Jessen.
