Cr. A. Duncan was now out of hospital and home, he was pleased to report, said the chairman, Cr. D. Courtney at the May meeting of the Thames Cdunty Council. Or. Duncan was not yet well enough to attend meetings, and was granted leave of absence. Mr Brian Dalton of Miranda has been spending a holiday with his mother at Stratford. Constable R. Beasley of Kerepehi has left to spend three weeks’ annual leave in Te Puninga, Waitoa and Auckland. < Constable J. Beasley of Hamilton is relieving Constable R. Beasley of Kerepehi for three weeks. Mr B. Tubb, who has been spending a fortnight in Auckland, has returned to Kerepehi. Mr G. Mudford of Hikutaia has returned from a visit to Napier. Mr A. G. Lethbridge of Wharepoa has returned from Wellington and New Plymouth. Mr W. Sutton of Mount Roskill, who has been the guest of Mr R. W. Lowry, Hikutaia, has returned home. Mr T. Dunwoodie of Pokuru, who has been a visitor to Hikutaia, has returned home. Messrs R. Roberts and H. Overington of Auckland were visitors of Mrs M. Hanlen of Hikutaia during the week-end. Mr S. Pocknell of Wellington is visiting Mr and Mirs M. Hanlen <yf Hikutaia.
