CHILDREN’S APPEAL
COLLECTION ON PLAINS AMOUNT NOW £BBl/9/10 Funds collected on the Hauraki Plains County for the United Nations’ Appeal for Funds for Children now amount to £BBl 9s lOd, stated the secretary for the appeal on the Plains, Mr E. A. Mahoney. This was the total amount in hand up until noon on Thursday.
£621 COLLECTED
DONATIONS FROM PAEROA A progress report, on the money collected for the United Nations’ Appeal for Funds for Children in the Paeroa district, stated that £621 0s 6d had 'been handed in up until 5 p.m. on Thursday evening. The infomuktion was supplied by Mr A. A. Jenkinson, joint secretary of the appeal in Paeroa.
