FUNDS FOR GUIDES
EVENING AT WHITIANGA GAMES AND COMPETITIONS There was a great deal of noise and fun at an evening held at Mrs L. .V. Smith’s residence at Whitianga recently. The evening , was arranged by the Whitianga girl guide committee to raise funds 1 for the central committee. Games and competitions were played. The committee served a dainty supper. Among the competition winners were David Jones (motor car names), June Armstrong (cushion cover), Jeffery Sharpies (vase), Mr J. Harsant (lucky number).
