* ANNUAL SHOW HELD RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS The 1947 Netherton Young Farmers’ Club show was held on November 5, $ with Mr A. C. Bailey officiating as judge. The following were the class results: — Best dairy cow, any breed, in milk: Townshend Bros.’ “ Bellwin Rosebud ” 1; two-year heifer, any breed, in milk, Townshend Bros.’ “Bellwin Enid” 1, M. B. Morrison’s “ Balgowan Countess” 2, J. Manga’s entry 3; yearling bull, any breed, J. Manga’s entry 1; yearling heifer, any breed, Townshend Bros.’ “Checkmate’s Jeannie” 1, R. Bennett’s “Nellie” 2, J. Manga’s entry 3; heifer calf, any breed, H. A. Wilson’s entry 1, D. Geary’s entry 2, D. Hill’s entry 3; bull calf, any breed, R. Bennett’s entry 1, H. A. Wilson’s entry 2, Townshend Bros.’ entry 3; Young Farmers’ Club champion female, Townshend Bros.’ “ Bellwin Enid,” champion;. Townshend Bros.’ “Bellwin Rosebud,” reserve; M. B. Morrison’s “ Balgowan Countess ” 3.
