ACCIDENT IN COWYARD

A Netherton farmer, Mr C. Ricketts, received injuries to his foot when he slipped in his cowshed and a cow’s horn pierced his foot, recently. The accident happened when he went to attend a cow that had fallen in the shed. Mr Rickets was wearing gumboots when he slipped and the cow’s horn pierced the boot and entered his foot which was cut to the bone. He was treated by a Paeroa doctor, and' he was able to return to his home.
