NEW BUS ROUTE

PATETONGA AND KAIHERE TE AROHA-AUCKLAND SERVICE Approval has been received by Messrs Edwards Motors Ltd. from the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority, Mr E. J. Phelan, to the application made by the company to run a back-country service between Te Aroha and Auckland daily via Patetonga, Kaihere and Mangatarata. The new service will leave Te Aroha at 7.10 a.m., travelling via Waitoa, Springdale, Tahuna, Patetonga, Kaihere, Mangatarata and Pokeno, the return trip being made at 3 p.m. Passengers may not be picked up or set down between the junction with the Pae-roa-Pokeno State highway and the Bombay deviation.
