YOUNG FARMERS CLUB decision at conference A motion that an agricultural and pastoral show be held was ’defeated at a meeting of the Hauraki District Committee of Young Farmers’ Clubs. The resolution was moved by Mr W. Geary, seconded by Mr J. E. Qumn, after Mr Quinn had outlined a proposal. It was decided, on the motion of Mr E. Townshend, seconded by Mr W. Leonard, that the Hauraki Agricultural and Pastoral Society be approached, with the request that Young Farmers’ Club classes be provided at its show and that Young Farmers’ Clubs be given representation on the show committee.
