DONATION TO R.S.A.
HAURAKI HOME GUARD COY. £3O GIVEN FROM FUNDS A donation of £3O has been made by the Hauraki Home Guard Company to the Paeroa-Hauraki Returned Services Association. The gift was made from funds accumulated during the war years from dances and from the members’ voluntary payment into the company’s funds of the allowance for meals. The money is to be placed in the R.S.A.’s general account. Acknowledgement of the receipt of the money has been made to Mr H. G. McGowan, who was the officer in charge of the company, A similar donation has been made to the Thames R.S.A.
