Thanks For Bridge Repairs
At the August meeting of the Coromandel County Council a resolution was proposed by the chairman, Mr E. Deeble, and seconded by Or. F. H. Purdom, that a letter of appreciation be sent to the Public Works Department at Paeroa, thanking them for the assistance given by Mr .Shepherd in the repairing of the Waiau bridge when it collapsed. Motion of Sympathy A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr U. B. Inglis was passed at the August meeting of the Coromandel County Council. The meeting stood in silence as a mark of respect.
