SIX PERMITS FOR MONTH TOTAL VALUE £1699 During the past month six building permits of a total balue of £1699’ were issued on the Hauraki Plains, reported the county engineer, Mr E. Hazledine Barber, to the August meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. Details: V. Bower, erect dwelling; Geo. Gray, erect shearing shed; J. C. Finlay, erect pig stys and implement shed; N. G. Packard, erect army hut as dwelling; J. Clark, construct roof on garage; B. A. Keyes, erect washhouse and man’s room.
