NGATEA PARADE

WELL ORGANISED SHOW A. BLAKE WINS CHAMPIONSHIP On Tuesday, November 19, the ■Ngatea School Calf Club combined with the Young Farmers’ Club to run a Calf Chib Show. In spite of showery weather it was a most enjoyable day. The judge was Mr A. C. Bailey of Wharepoa and the associate judge was Mr Williamson. These men handled their task most capably. The Young Farmers’ Club was much indebted to the numerous donors and to Mr B. C. Miller who went to endless trouble to help the club in their first attempt to run a show. The school loudspeaker system greatly assisted in the efficient running of the programme. Luncheon was served and the aid of the ladies who attended the tables was much appreciated by the chib.
