HUNT WEEK
TO BE HELD IN PAEROA COMMITTEE APPOINTED ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING At an enthusiastic meeting held in Paeroa last week it was decided to once again hold a Hunt Week in Paeroa and a strong committee was set up to organise the event. This will be the first Paeroa Hunt Week to be held since the war began, and should prove as popular as ever and by all reports the number of followers will be even larger than before. The chairman and convenor of the meeting, Mr V. Y.oung, said that the Maramarua Hunt Club had offered to bring the hounds to Paeroa for the week, June. 29 to July 6 and the secretary was instructed to write and invite them to Paeroa for that period. 'Waihi followers were very keen also, said Mr P. R. Henry, to have the hounds out there during the week. Programme Arranged A tentative programme included two days hunting at Waihi, one day at

Hikutaia. one day at Tirohia, and a gymkhana at Paeroa; the hunt dance will be held at Hikutaia. A furthei meeting of the committee will be held on May 33 to finalise all arrangements.
