NATIONAL PARTY
MEETING AT HIKUTAIA OFFICERS' FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the Hikutaia branch' of the National P'arty was held recently in the Hikutaia Hall. Mr E. Elliott presided. Also present at the meeting were Mr D. G. McMillan and the organiser Mr J. Kidd. The following officers were elected: —'Chairman: Mr R. W. Lowry; secretary: Mr J. Corbett; committee: Messrs G. AVery, E. Elliott, H. Smith, S. Smith, A. Duncan, A. Lowry, E. Alley, M'esdames G. AVery, A. W. Alley, R. W. Lowry and Miss G. Gibb; delegates; Messrs R. W.' Lowry, J. Corbett, H. Smith, G. Elliott, G. Henwood, P. Sutton, A. Lowry, Mrs A. W. Alley.
