NEW BUS SERVICE
ROUTE AROUND PLAINS' At the last meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce Mr H. J. Hare raised the question of the institution of a bus service from the Plains to Paeroa. A new factory was starting operations in Paeroa, he said., and it would employ approximately 20 girls. These might have to be brought in from the district round about. At present there was a service Waihi-Paeroa and Te Aroha-Paeroa, but no service Plains-Paeroa.
The secretary, Mr J. H. Bartlett, agreed to go into the matter of route and make preliminary investigations in conjunction with Mr Hare and Mt Thomas and report to the next meeting.
