CAIE CHAMPIONSHIP
GOLDFIELD’S GUN CLUB WTN FOR MR E. C. T HOMA SEN At the recent meeting of the Goldfield’s Gun Club Mr E-. C. Thomasen was successful in winning the Caie Brothers Championship while Mr H. Thompson .won the Teddy Cup. The results of the principal events were as under: — Caie Brothers Championship ,Ctip 20 birds: E. C. Thomasen (119,) 1; runners-up with I's birds each: W. Thomasen, N. Pearson and 1 B. Caie. Teddy Cup (10 birds): H. Thompson 1. Eye Opener (5 birds): B. Caie (5) 1, E. C. Thomasen, W. Thomasen and R. Hunter (4) equal 2. Ladies’ Shoot ('5 birds)': G. C. Thomasen and L. Hunter (’5) equal 1. Mrs N. Pearson and Mrs B. Caie were the successful holders of shooters’ numbers.
■Lunch and afternoon tea were served by the girls who consistently render their services to the club, namely Misses K. Thomasen, G. Lozell and P. Abbott.
