DOG NUISANCE
NOW BAD IN PAEROA
COUNCILLOR COMPLAINS
NOBODY WILL CLAIM THEM
The dog nuisance in Paeroa was getting seriously out of hand stated Councillor L. E. Shaw at the April meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council.

ensed and were a danger from a sheep worrying point of view. He urged that something be done to remedy the position. The Mayor, Mr Edwin Ed'wards, said the foreman could arrange to impound the unlicensed dogs and’ he also pointed out that property owners could shoot the dogs if they were trespassing. The matter was left to the borough foreman to deal with.
