TO BE FENCED
PART OF ROAD FRONTAGE CLEAR BLACKBERRY PEST At the April meeting of the Ohinenturi County Council permission was sought by Mr P. H. Sutton, of Maratoto Valley, Hikutaia, to remove a portion of his boundary fence nearer to the road. The request stated that the ground to be taken in was overgrown with blackberry and rabbit infested. The granting of the application would greatly facilitate keeping the frontage clean. On the recommendation of Cr. R. W. Lowry, the request was acceded to provided the alteration was made to the satisfaction of the county engineer.
