COUNTY TO PROTEST
NAME OF THE ELECTORATE OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL The changing of the electoral boundaries and the consequent elimination of the Thames electorate was mentioned at the April meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council. It was decided, on the motion of Crs. R. W. Lowry and G. A. Avery that a protest be made at the non-retention of the name “Thames.”
