Shoe-Fitting Service
Advice that the shoe-fitting service for nurses, inaugurated in 1'944 as an extension of a fitting scheme foi women in the Armed. Forces, is being discontinued, was received at a meeting of the Thames Hospital Board recently from the Department of Health. With the cessation of war and the reduced 1 demand, the maintenance of the service is no longer considered justified* Nurses, however, will be entitled to priority over other applicants to procure duty shoes from retailers, adds the letter;
