51ST ANNIVERSARY
MARAMARUA CHURCH
aHIDDRIEIN OF THE: FOUNDER
The fifty-first anniversary service of the Maramarua Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Yule on April 14 was well attended. The inspiring address by Rev. Yule and the singing of Sankey Hymns was greatly enjoyed by all. Three generations of the founder were represented at the service, and a birthday tea was held at the conclusion. Mrs Dimmock lit the candles on the cake and Mrs Nelson (eldest daughter of the founder, Mr McInnes) then cut the cake. A very happy social hour for pioneers and friends brought the anniversary celebrations to a close.
