AUTUMN BLOOMS

SHOW AT MARAMARUA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION The Presbyterian Church at Maramarua this year celebrated their anniversary by organising a well attended flower show. The entries were good considering the show was held between seasons.

'Silver cups were presented by the church members for the largest number of points gained in the different sections as follows: —The Dimmock Cup for best chrysanthemums, Mrs F. ,Symes; the Mclnnis Gup for best selection of decorated vases, Mrs M'cIndoe of .Kaihere; the Downie Vase for best selection of dahlias, Mrs Carter of Waeranga; the Harrison Cup for most points in zinnias, Mr Sutherland; the Maxwell Cup for best selection of vegetables, Mr Harrison.
