STEER RIDING ACCIDENT
INCIDENT AT PAEROA SPORTS
Painful injuries to his nose and face, were suffered by Mr T. O’Grady of Waihou while competing in the steer riding competition at the Paeroa Picnic Racing Club’s annual meeting on the Paeroa Racecourse on Saturday. The steer ,on which he was riding threw its head back violently catching Mr O’Grady’s face and laying his nose open with a deep l gash. He was attended by the St. John Ambulance and was then able tq prc:eed to his nome
