TRIBUTE PAID
PAEROA RUGBY UNION LATE MR E. O. BROWNLEE Reference to the passing of Mr E. 0. Brownlee, formerly secretary of the Thames Rugby Union, was made at the annual meeting of the Paeroa Rugby Union last week, when high praise of the work he had done in ths interest of the sport was given.
The chairman, Mr D. G. McMillan, said that the late Mr E. Brownlee of the Thames Rugby Union had been one of the stalwarts of football in the Thames Valley. His passing was. a great loss- to the sport of Rugby. He had been a capable secretary and had given great service throughout many years.
A motion of sympathy with the relatives was passed, the meeting standing in silence as a mark of ..respect.
