CHRISTMAS CLOSING
POSITION IN PAEROA QUESTION FULLY DISCUSSED At the November meeting l of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce there was a long discussion as to what holidays should Ibe observed at Christmas l and New Year, a wide variety of opinions being expressed.. It was finally decided that as the meeting was not fully representative the. chamber would recommend that only the statutory holidays ibe observed. It was further decided that efforts be made to ascertain what' shops would be open and what services would be available to the public and this information published. Potential shoppers would appreciate this advice. ~ ~
