NATIONAL AND TAP

DANCING COMPETITIONS JOHNSON CHALLENGE CUPS PROGRAMME HELD IN PAEROA A very large crowd attended the Civic Hall, .Paeroa, on Friday evening, November 16, when national and tap dancing competitions were held'. The Johnson Challenge Cups, championships for highland flings, were keenly .competed for, Mrs P. Rae, the well-known, registered judge being the adjudicator. All competitors were pupils of Miss May Johnson. There were about. .TO competitors and 19 events,, it being midnight when the last event was over. Results were as follow:—
