SOCIAL NOTES

Mrs R. Hobbs and her son Terry of Mt. Albert, Auckland, have been the guests of Mrs W. Marsh, Bradley street, Paeroa.

Mrs R. Harrison, of Turua, together with her small son Robin, has left for Wellington where she is to meet her husband on his arrival from overseas.

iMiis-s Ethel Candy of Auckland spent the week-end at Kopuarahi where she was the guest of Miss RitaLaw.

Mrs C. K. Fox of Turua, is spending a few days with her mother, Mrs J. C. Miller, of Thames. Mrs G. Henderson, of Avondale, is the guest of Mrs C. Scott, of Turua. Mr® B. Sherry of Auckland has been spending a holiday with her mother, Mrs J. Rush, Puke road, Paeroa.

IMrs. A. McClean, of Pipiroa road', Waitakaruru, has returned home after spending a holiday at Rotorua. Mrs A. Otter has returned to her home at Waitakaruru after spending a few days in Auckland where she was the guest of Mrs Sheld’on, of Mt. Eden.

Mrs A. McGuire, of has •been the guest of Mrs W. Marsh, of Paeroa.

Mrs M. E. Strong, of Point Chevalier, has been spending a holiday in (Paeroa with her sister, Mrs W. Marsh, Bradley street.

Mrs E. W. Reid of Penrose, has been spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs W. Marsh, Bradley street, Paeroa.

Mrs MbLean was a recent visitor to Kerepeehi as the guest of Mr and Mrs C. Poland.

Miss D. Lord, Auckland, visited her parents, Mr and Mrs E. Lord, Kerepeehi, during the week-end. Miss N. Bartley, Kerepeehi, is visiting- Auckland. Miss J. Poland has returned to Auckland after spending a week-end in Kerepeehi with her parents, Mr and Mrs C. Poland.
