IN KEEN DEMAND
DAIRY CATTLE SOUGHT STOCK SALE AT PAEROA The New Zealand' Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd'., report that at their fortnightly stock sale held at Paeroa on Monday there was a good average yarding of dairy cattle which were again in keen demand. Beef cattle showed an easing tendency all classes- of stores were keenly sought after. They quote:— Heifers, calved and close to profit, extra choice from £l3 to £l5 Ids, medium quality £lO to £l2, backward £8 to £9 15s; cows, calved and close te profit, extra choice from £l2 to £lB 15s, medium quality £9 -10 s to £ll 10s, backward £7 10's to £8 15s-; beef, prime young cows and heifers from £8 10s to £lO 15s, medium quality £7 5s to £8 ss, unfinished '£s to £6 15s; boners, heavy, from £4 15s to £5 ss, medium £4 to £4 12s, light £3 to £3 15'S-; potter bulls, from £6 to £8; bulls, 2-year-old service from £6 10s to £9 10s, yearlings £4 10s to £6; heifers, yearling, best quality, from £8 5 s to £8 13s, others from £6 to £7 ss, two-year-old l empty £4 10s to £6 10s.' Store hoggets to 225; ewes, fat, to 26s 6d.
