LADIES’ GOLF
MRS BAIN WINS L.G.U. FOURTH ROUND OF ROSE BOWL On Saturday an L.G.U. match and the fourth round of the Rose Bowl competition was played by the Paeroa Ladies’ Golf Club. In the L.G.U. Mrs Bain was the winner with 6 ( 6 nett, Other good scores were: —Mrs Oliphant, 68 nett; .Mrs Jones, 70 nett; Miss Gibb 70 nett; Mrs Ripley, 70 nett; Mrs Carroll, 71 nett. In the Rose Bowl the three best out of four scores were as under:—Mrs Ripley, 223, 1; Mrs Lewis, 227, 2; Mrs M. Shaw, 230, 3; Mrs Jones, 232, 4. Next Saturday players arrange their own partners.
