“A FARCE”

COUNCILLOR’S ALLEGATIONS SANITARY SERVICE At the November meeting of the Coromandel County Council, Cr. A. J. Notman asked why half the town was forced to utilise and pay for sanitary service while the other half was exempt.

“It’s a farce,” he *continued, “and steps should be taken with a view to putting the position as regards the sanitary service on a fairer and more reasonable basis.” It was pointed out that a notice of motion would have to be tabled before the matter could be discussed. Cr. A. J. Notman agreed to do this.
