EASY WIN FOR RAILWAY

CRICKET ON THE DOMAIN

KORONEHO’S NICE SCORE OF 84

Railway had little difficulty in defeating Paeroa in a cricket match played on the Paeroa Domain during the week-end, winning by 101 runs in a single innings match. P. Koroneho with 84 runs to his credit and E. Scott who knocked- up 42 were the 'outstanding batsmen for Railway whose total score was 116. T. Smith with four wickets, E. Scott three, L. Zanders and F. Sharp one wicket each were the Railway bowlers who were responsible for Paeroa s downfall.

For Paeroa T. Henderson was the only batsman to reach double figures and Henderson also proved the -most successful' bowler, being responsible for three wickets. W.
