FRIDAY NIGHT CLOSING
UNIFORMITY IN PAEROA
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEET . At the last meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce the question of Friday night closing was discussed and the need for a uniform hour for the shutting of shops was emphasised. After some discussion it was decided to recommend that all shops dose at 8 p.m. on Fridays in future throughout the year with the exception of Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
