COROMANDEL DANCE

LABOUR NIGHT FUNCTION

SUCCESSFUL EVENING

A most enjoyable dance was held in St. George’s Hall, Coromandel, on Monday, October 23, when the Catholic Church Committee held their annual function. A large crowd of residents and visitors was present and the proceedings went with a swing.

The music for the dancing was supplied by Mrs E. M. Lucas and Lee Perfect and extras were played by Miss Lillis and. Mrs D. iStewart. Mr A. G. McNeil was M.C.

A splendid supper was served by the ladies’ committee and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, the cakes provided being most enthusiastically welcomed.

A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss J. iDeeble and Mr B. Shandley and a spot waltz /by Miss T. 'Park and Mr J. Davis.

Dancing continued till the early hours.
