TURUA MEET THAMES RUGBY AND BASKETBALL Footbal land basketball teams from the Turua School travelled to Thames recently to play against teams from the Thames 'South School. The iSouth teams won all matches, the football being a closely contested game in which both teams handled well in spite of the heavy ground and greasy ball. The basketball matches ■provided interesting games in both cases. Results were: — Football—South '6, Turua 3. Basketball. —South A 5, Turua A 2; South B 3. Turua B 0.
