SOCIAL NOTES
Mrs D. Hamblin, Mrs Vazey and Mrs Mackin of Awanui, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs Geo. Courtney, Ngatea. Miss A. Paul, president of the 'Ngatea Women’s Institute, leaves early next week to attend the May council of the A.D.F.U., Women’s Institutes. Mrs S. V. Barri'ball will also attend as the Ngatea delegate. Members of the institute who are to compete in the drama festival which is held in the evenings, after the council meetings, are Mesdames F. E. Hammond, R. Grbich, J. Lee, W. Baxter and Miss A. Paul. Mrs W. W. Williams will act as official prompt.
