Dog Adopts Battery In Tunis A district soldier at present on furlough from the Middle East tells of the pet adopted by the battery to which he is attached. The animal of doubtful origin found its way into their ranks in Tunis, and has gone with them to Italy. When the guns went off he contracted shell shock and would find shelter in any corner. Later the troops were billeted in a stone house and found a barrel of wine in the cellar. The small dog soon cultivated a taste for this and it is quite a usual sight to see him stag-o-er about in a perfectly happy state of mind with his legs hardly able to keep him going, but the gunfire does not worry him.
