DAIRY CATTLE VALUES PRICES AT MORRINSVILLE SALE The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Ltd., report that at their weekly stock sale held at Morrinsville on Friday a small entry of fat sheep came forward and sold at prices on a par with late rates. A small entry of store hoggets was submitted to a large attendance of buyers and prices realised were on a par with late rates. A good yarding of beef cows realised slightly better values Than those ruling earlier in the week. Boner cows were in full supply and values were on a par with the central markets. A smaller entry of yearling Jersey heifers improved in value on recent sales. , The advertised store cattle came forward in good condition. Competition was keener than at recent sales and prices improved accordingly. A small entry of dairy cattle came forward. The quality was not as good as previously and prices showed a slight drop on recent rates. A full yarding of fat pigs and a medium entry of store and weaner pigs was penned. Competition for all classes was very keen, prices being fully up to last week’s quotations.
