ALL CLASSES OF PIGS SOUGHT SALE HELD AT WAIHOU The Farmers’ Co-operative tioneeri’ng Company, Ltd., report that at their fortnightly stock sale at Waihou.on Thursday, a medium yarding of sheep showed little, alteration in values. A medium entry of cow and heifer beef , eased slightly in value, while a full offering of boner and store cows met a firm demand and sold freely. A smaller entry of yearling Jersey heifers improved in values. A light entry of dairy cows and heifers sold fully up to recent late rates. fl A. medium yarding of pigs came forward. Competition for all classes was very keen, values being on a par with other centres. Quotations: — Sheep.—Fat 2-th. wethers, 23s 3d to 24s.fid; store hoggets, 225; fat shorn ewes, 14s. Cattle. —Medium fat Jersey cows, £6 to £6 15s; light fat Jersey cows and heifers, £5 to £5 15s; heavy boner cows £4 5s to £5 ss; medium, £3 10s to £4; store cows, £2 15s to £3 ss; 2-year empty Jersey heifers, £3 10s to £4 4s; yearling Jersey cross heifers, £5 5s to £5 10s; Jersey and Jersey-cross heifers, close to profit, £ll 5s to'£l3 ss; others, £8 to £9 ss; dairy cows, to £l3 ss.
