The Rev. R. Day, of Waihi, was the guest of Mr and Mrs W. Lee, during his visit to the district of Whitianga.
Miss E. Freeman has returned to Whitianga after spending the school vacation in Auckland.
Miss Barbara Smith of Mercury Bay, was the guest of Mrs J. E. Shaw, Opotiki, during the school vacation.
Messrs J. F. 1 Wrigley, of Takapuna, G. U. Martin of Hamilton and Moor of Epsom, Auckland, are the guests of.. Mrs Lyon, Whitianga.
Mrs L. V. Smith and her young family have returned to the Bay after holidaying in Opotiki.
Sub-Lieutenant C. E. H. Stocker, who is on leave from Australia, and Miss M. 'Pyatt, of Auckland, are visiting Mr and Mrs D. C. Stocker, Whitianga.
Matron Devine and her two children Pam and Peter have left the district of Whitianga to take up residence in Auckland.
Miss Eileen Gordon of Auckland, is visiting her- parents, Mr and Mrs J. 'E. Gordon, of-Coroglen.
Miss J. Sewell of Whitianga, is spending a holiday in Auckland.
Miss Joan Simpson, of Diocesan and Master Peter Simpson of King’s College, Auckland, have been spending the school vacation with their parents at “Dunsdale.”

Ordinary-Telegraphist B. Tucker, of H.M.S. Taniaki, spent week-end leave wjth his parents, Constable and Mrs S. Tucker, Whitianga.
