£3O PAID FOR DRAUGHTS
Over 100 horses of all classes were offered to a large attendance of buyers at the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd’s, horse sale held in Paeroa last Friday. Competition would have been keener if the vendors had met the purchasers on more reasonable terms.
Draughts suited for «team work made up to £3-o', while hacks realised up to £22. Up to £8 10s was paid for unbroken fillies.
