A suggestion from the Paeroa All Services Club that the ladies take their turn once or twice weekly of hostessing at the club, was fully discussed. It was found that most of the members were doing so, through their respective church organisations, and country members, though willing, would not be able to make the extra necessary visits to Paeroa. It was agreed to notify the All Services Club to this effect. • Several of the ladies volunteered to assist with the cooking at the school Territorial camp to be held in Paeroa during the holidays. The committee decided to send a box of. flowers, together with their love/ and best wishes to Mrs Short, who is still in hospital. Mrs Hunt undertook to arrange for the flowers, and Mrs Darby to deliver them during a visit to Thames.
