THAMES COUNTY COUNCIL QUORUM NOT ATTAINABLE Four members of the Thames .'County Council arrived at the County Chambers in Mary Street, Thames, for Thursday morning’s monthly meeting. However, four was one short of the quorum—and so the four, after waiting half an hour, went home. They were Lieutenant J. Williamson, Messrs E. J. McLoughlin, A. McCollum and J. A. F. iStone. The county clerk, Mr D. Mackay, was also present. At least one member was absent through illness, but the storm the previous night may have had something to do with the absence of the others.
