GOOD YARDING REPORTED HIGH RATES FOR STORES The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd., report that at their fortnightly pig sale, held at Paeroa on Monday, there was a good yarding, mainly of store pigs, and the entry can be considered good for this time of the year. A large attendance of buyers were present and competed keenly for all stores. The rates ruling for store pigs was the highest ever seen at Fat pigs sold freely at ruling rates. Quotations: Medium baconers £3 10s to £4 4s, light baconers £3 6s to £3 12s, heavy porkers, £2 10s to £3 4s, small porkers, £2 to £2 Bs, large stores £2 14s to £3 4s, others £2 6s to £2 12s, large slips, £1 16s to £2 4s, medium slips £1 Ids to £1 14s, weaners, £1 Is to £1 9s, sows (c.t.p.) £5 Ids to £B, boars, £2 to £4 10s, sows with litter £4 5s to £6 15s.
