VALUES AT MORRINS VILLE SALE KEEN DEMAND FOR ALL PIGS The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Ltd , report that at "their weekly Morrinsville stock sale on Friday a good yarding of fat sheep sold under keen competition at full late rates. The enquiry for twotooth breeding ewes was brisk, but older ewes were not as keenly sought. A medium entry of beef sold freely at fully equal to late rates. Boners were again penned in average numbers and were keenly sought by ex port buyers. A full penning of yearling heifers created interest, and values advanced on recent sales. There was another large yarding of dairy cattle with values generally slightly easier. Heifers showing quality and close to profit met a steady sale, but backward and poorer animals were not wanted. Top price of £l3 15s was reached for good quality 2-year heifers, close to pro , with best dairy cows selling to £l2 There was a medium yarding of fat pigs and a full entry of stores , an d weaners. Competition for all classes was spirited and last week s advanced rates fully maintained. No heavy baconers were penned. Quotations: —
