PLEASANT EVENING
MISS K. ROBERTS HONOURED 21ST. BIRTHDAY PARTY Miss Kathleen Roberts was given a surprise party at her parents’ home recently on the occasion of her twenty-first birthday by the officers and members of the Salvation Army. Private and Mrs Tipler on their honeymoon were also present. During the evening games were organised and Major T. R. Moore in a few well-chosen remarks eulogised Miss Roberts’ work in the Army and made her a handsome presentation. A dainty - supper was partaken of bringing to a termination a very pleasant evening.
