SCHOOL RATES
REQUEST FOR REVISION
NO HELP FROM COUNTY
A request from the Coromandel School Committee that the council remit the rates amounting to £3 was considered at the monthly meeting of the Coromandel County Council.
The committee stated that the capitation grant was not sufficient for the carrying out of repairs etc., to the old school building. After a brief discussion it was resolved that the council could not accede to the request.
