MILITARY WEDDING

CEREMONY AT NGATEA A wedding of interest to most districts on the Hauraki 'Plains was solemnised in St. Paul’s ChurcJj, Ngatea, on Saturday, July 4, when Aileen, second daughter of Mrs L. A. Keith and the late Mr J. H. Keith of Pipiroa, became the bride of Driver Allen Donald, second son of Mr and Mrs Duncan Donald, Glen Eden, Auckland. Rev. W. A.-Scott, Pt. Chevalier, assisted by Rev. Cream hand-painted satin, with tiny flashes of blue, was chosen for the lovely bridal gown, which was fashioned on- fitting lines, with a fully flared skirt forming the train. Plaited satin, substituted for a collar and outlined the front yoke. The bodice, fully shirred from a -vee neckline to the waist, was trimmed with tiny satin buttons down the back and sleeves which fitted from the elbows, formed a point over each hand. The embroidered tulle veil was fastened to the head with a topknot of flowers and the bride carried a beautiful sheaf of creamy arum lilies with freesias and fern. Miss Elsie Keith who attended her sister as bridesmaid, wore a charming frock of hyacinth blue marquisette, made with a heart-shaped neckline and short puffed sleeves. Mrs Duncan Donald, who assisted Mrs Keith, wore a nut brown ensemble with hat to match and a shoulder spray of autumn tinted flowerbuds and leaves. The bride travelled in a frock of grey-wing angora with navy coat, hat and accessories.
