RAILWAYS’ URGENT WAR WORK WAGON USERS’ CO-OPERATION ESSENTIAL Railway wagons are just as necessary for Victory as are ships, guns and lighting power. To-day’s demand upon the Railway Department’s resources is greater and more vital to our national security than at any, previous stage of the war. Tonnage figures show that the Department can < meet the situation with its available rolling stock, provided wagons are used to full advantage. Failure to discharge wagons promptly after arrival contributes to rolling stock shortage and slows down our war effort. Co-operation of rail users in assisting the quick tumround and capacity loading of wagons • is earnestly asked for.
